Starting off from Parkanaur we visited President Grant’s ancestral homestead. Our tour of the countryside took us past many interesting sites before arriving at the Sunflower Field where we were allowed to pick ourselves some sunflowers (with donations for Cancer Research) . We then travelled up past the windfarms eventually arriving back at Parkanaur for our picnic.

Another great day out kindly organised by Maurice and Cherith.

This was our first club outing since September 2019.

We met up at Lisburn and proceeded to Scarbo Tower for walk up to the tower. From there we made our way to the coast for a picnic by the sea. A great day was had by all and the weather was brilliant too.
