We assembled in blistering sunshine at 1.00pm at Hazelbank carpark, Newtownabbey.  There was a good turnout of 10 cars. Light refreshments and snacks were provided there before setting off on the run (although unfortunately the wasps were equally keen on eating the food).

Our first stop was Knockagh Monument which provided excellent views of Belfast Lough and the surrounding countryside. From there we made our way through Ballyclare and on to Slemish. As you can see from the some of the photos a few members did at least attempt to climb a little way up the mountain. Leaving Slemish we made our way through the award winning village of Broughshane and on to the pictureques harbour at Glenarm were stopped for a few minutes for another photo. Travelling a few more miles along the coast road took us to our restaurant venue, the Halfway House Hotel in Ballygally where we all enjoyed an excellent meal.

Many thanks to all who took part and helped make this such a great club event!
